Pied à Terre

Piccadilly Circus, London

We re-designed this studio apartment in the heart of London to become a comfortable pied-à-terre for our clients to use during short stays in the capital. By removing an awkward, dividing half-wall, we ‘zoned’ the compact space so that it now feels as luxurious as a hotel suite. A dining area, kitchen, and sleeping area is framed by a sofa and coffee table. A muted paint palette links the different areas; artisan furniture commissioned for the interior, layered lighting, and tactile upholstery in wool or linen soften the atmosphere.
